Birding doesn’t stop when the temperature drops, the birds are out there for you to see. However, they may look a bit different than you remember. Many birds are known to fluff up their feathers to provide an insulating layer of air between the cold and their bodies. The goal for this program is to spot some of these flying fluff balls and identify them. This program will take place at the Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center and surrounding park on concrete and gravel trails. No birding experience is necessary all equipment will be provided. This program is weather dependent and in the event of inclement weather or icy trail conditions the trail walk will be cancelled. Ages 13+ Evan R Smoot
