Current River Callers and Jacks Fork Jakes in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Conservation and the National Wild Turkey Federation invites kids ages 6-12 to Jakes Day at Twin Pines Conservation Center in Winona, MO. The program for the day includes a variety of outdoor skills-related activities, prize drawings, goodie bags, and a free membership in the JAKES. A free lunch will be served between 11:00 and 11:45. Pre-registration is strongly advised, but on-site registration will be available from 11:00-11:30. This is an event for kids that provides opportunities and challenges in line with the abilities of their age group. JAKES, which stands for juniors acquiring knowledge, ethics, and sportsmanship, is dedicated to informing educating and involving youth in wildlife conservation and the wise stewardship of our natural resources.
