As the clock strikes midnight on Halloween, join us for a (not so) spooky stroll into the dark forest of Powder Valley. As you walk, learn about wildlife that’s inspired many scary stories and urban legends. Experience these critters through sounds and hands-on materials. Enjoy nocturnal nature, bring a friend, and create one-of-a-kind memories on a journey into Missouri’s natural nightlife. This hike will be located on the Hickory Ridge Short Loop, which measures to be ½ mile loop. This trail is paved and features steep inclines and declines. Be prepared for several short educational stops. Come prepared by wearing closed toe walking shoes and bringing water. We have a few red-light flashlights on hand for participants to borrow. If you’re bringing your own, please ensure that it has red-light capability. This hike is for ages 18+, please ensure you register all members of your group. Lauren Baker
