| Join MDC for some Friday night fishing fun at Forest Park! Fishing is a great way to spend time outdoors. Whether you're a first-time angler or have fished before, everyone is welcome. All fishing equipment will be provided, and experienced volunteers will be on hand to offer tips, instruction, and guidance for beginners. All fish caught will be returned to the lake. This event is for anyone ages 18+. All individuals planning to attend must be registered separately. |

Location Information Originally established in 1879, the Forest Park Hatchery was the first fish culture activity in Missouri. Today this fish hatchery is no longer operated for fish farming but rather for educational programming. |
