| Registration required by visiting www.deeproots.org/guided-nature-tours (ages 12+) With September's arrival, monarch butterflies become more common as they make their big migration to their overwintering sites in Mexico. Join Deep Roots KC for a leisurely landscape walk through the Discovery Center's gardens. Learn about the monarch migration and which native plants best support them from cute caterpillar to beautiful butterfly.
