The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) and St. James Parks & Recreation is hosting a “Primitive Campfire Cooking” event for families & individuals at Lake Shelter South in St. James Park on November 7th between 1 - 3 PM; limited to the first 50 registered participants. St. James Park includes Scioto Lake, Lake Shelter North, Lake Shelter South (next to Scout Lodge), Playground Shelter, & Scout Lodge Shelter.
