This youth wing shooting program and duck hunt is designed for those who are new to/or are beginning duck hunters (ages 8-18). On Saturday December 12th, you will meet at the Duck Creek Conservation Area Headquarters (Brown Building) where we will cover safety, appropriate firearms and ammunition, distance estimation, along with a duck wing ID, and practice wing shooting. Dress appropriately as we will be outside for most of the event. Please bring a 20 gauge or 12 gauge shotgun, along with steel shot to match your shotgun. If you do not have access to a shotgun, please let me know. You will meet with your duck hunting mentor and hunt the afternoon (until sunset) of Saturday December 12th. A confirmation email and list of “what to bring the day of the hunt” will be sent closer to the event. If you have any questions, please contact Clayton Lewis: clayton.lewis@mdc.mo.gov CLAYTON W LEWIS
