Little Prairie Conservation Area (Phelps County) will be in full bloom with late summer wildflowers attracting beautiful butterflies, including the Monarch!? Hikers will enjoy panoramic views of the lake and prairie during this guided 3-mile trail hike (moderate). Meet at Runge Nature Center in Jefferson City or the trailhead. Some transportation is provided, but carpooling may be necessary. Hike leaders will contact participants via email before the hike to give directions and other information. Wear sturdy shoes, dress for the weather, bring a water bottle, and pack a lunch/snack. Note: Registration closes on August 19 at 8 a.m. Becky Matney
Directions:

From Rolla, take the north outer road of I-44 east about 5 miles, then Route RA north to the area. Take second entrance road on left which leads to boat ramp.
Cancellation Policies:

You must cancel your registration before Saturday, August 22, 2026.
Age Policy:

All registrants for this event must be a minimum age of 18 years old by 8/22/2026.
