| Join an MDC naturalist for Storybook Saturday at Kirkwood Public Library! Summer is finally here and Missouri’s critters are out and about. Learn all about amphibians in "Would You Rather Be A Tadpole? All About Pond Life: A Cat in the Hat Story". After the story, stick around to meet an ambassador animal up close and paint your own “toad abode” to take home! These amphibian hideaways are a perfect habitat for the toads and frogs that call your garden home, and provide children with an opportunity to participate in conservation in their own backyard. This program is most suitable for children ages 4-7, but all are welcome! Please Note: This program is for registered participants only, as supplies will be limited. Make sure to register all who will be attending the program, including children of all ages AND adults! |
