| Reveal the history of creating nature prints using tree cookies, horizontal slices of a tree’s trunk, during this hands-on program. Tree rings are visible bands of wood that form around a tree’s trunk as it grows. Each ring represents a year’s growth, and all the rings together tell the story of the tree. Using tree cookies as printing plates, you will create ink prints on paper and a canvas tote bag. Presenters will walk participants through the full process from prepping the wood to creating the unique prints. All materials provided. Aprons will be available, but wearing old clothing is recommended. |
