| Join us for a Saturday morning storybook reading! For this program, we will be reading Because of an Acorn by Lola M Schaefer & Adam Schafer, illustrated by Frann Preston-Gannon. In this book, we will explore the vital connections between the layers of an ecosystem. Wander down the forest path to learn how every tree, flower, plant, and animal is connected in spiraling circles of life. Finish up this fun morning with a short stroll on our Tanglevine Trail (weather permitting)! As we walk, we’ll discover how the forest of Powder Valley is connected. Tanglevine is a flat, paved trail which measures to be 1/3-mile long loop, perfect for families. This program is most appropriate for ages 4-7, but all are welcome. Please meet in classrooms C & D at the start of this program. ***When registering, please ensure that you register all individuals attending, including children and adults. |
