Youth Conservation and Hunter Education Camp is a FREE, two-day camp hosted by the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) for youth ages 11–15. The camp will be held on June 15–16. One goal of this camp is to encourage participants to leave with the confidence to explore Missouri’s diverse outdoors on their own. Campers will take part in a supportive learning environment where they can actively engage in hands-on outdoor skills led by MDC staff. Activities include archery, shooting sports, fishing, atlatl, and kayaking. Upon completion of the camp, participants will become Hunter Education certified, allowing them to continue using their newly learned skills. Registration is limited to the first 60 applicants who have not previously attended. A username and password must be created for your child in order to register. Registration is a multi-step process: 1. Register online 2. Watch for a confirmation email and a packet in the mail (please ensure your email and mailing address are current when registering) 3. Complete the packet as soon as possible and return it 4. Age Policy:

All registrants for this event must be between 11 and 15 years of age by 6/15/2026.
