| Reasons to love spring: Warm days, beautiful flowers, gardening season, and snakes. That’s right- snakes! In this program, discover how these slithering reptiles protect your homes and backyard gardens. We’ll cover some snake basics, meet a few ambassadors up close, and dig into ID of the most common species you can spot in the city. After an exploration of backyard snakes, create a mini air-dry clay snake sculpture inspired by one of our local species to place as décor on a potted plant at home. Participants should meet in classrooms C & D to begin this program. Participants must be aged 18+. Please ensure that you register all members of your party in advance. |
