Looking to make a difference in the environment but don’t know where to start? No need to stress, just go with a flow and float on down to Runge! From small changes at home to citizen science, discover the many ways you can positively impact Missouri streams. This hands-on program will provide participants with the knowledge and resources to be stewards of nature at any level! There will be classroom time followed by an optional trip to a stream site for a litter pickup and macroinvertebrate sampling. Those taking part in the stream site visit should make sure to dress appropriately for the weather and bring waterproof shoes/boots if you want to get in the water.
