| Dresser Island Conservation Area, located on the Mississippi River, is a perfect place to enjoy nature. Hike with us as we discover migrating birds and other signs of wildlife. Sightings of white pelicans and bald eagles are common this time of year. We will walk at a leisurely pace about 3 miles on flat terrain. We recommend sturdy footwear and dressing in layers. You may want to bring a camera, binoculars, walking stick, and your favorite water bottle. Meet in the parking lot for Dresser Island Conservation Area off Highway 94 about 5 miles west of West Alton in St. Charles County. |
