| Join members of the Ozark Trail Association, avid trail users, and community partners for an engaging introduction to backpacking on the Ozark Trail. Learn the trail’s history, discover resources to help you plan a 2–3-day backpacking trip, and explore the gear that makes your adventure safe and enjoyable. Connect with trail partners to see all the trail has to offer—from planning support to on-trail experiences. Partners that will be available at the event include Ozark Trail Association, Missouri Department of Conservation, River City Outdoors, Sierra Club, AmeriCorps, and the Alpine Shop. This educational program is suitable for ages 9 and up. |
