Runge volunteer and artist Tom Schulte is the creator of the large bronze box turtle sitting outside the entrance doors of Runge Nature Center. Join Tom as he guides you to sculpt your own (smaller) box turtle from air-dry clay. After a short naturalist-led presentation about Missouri’s three-toed box turtles, Tom will demonstrate sculpting techniques and provide tips on adding detail to the air-dry clay turtle sculpture. All tools and materials will be provided. Registration required. Ages 14+ Becky Matney
