Who’s shiny and black with yellow spots? Spotted salamanders! Crawl on in to learn all about spotted salamanders and why they are on the move this time of year. We’ll see what it takes to be a salamander as we explore where they live and make our way down to Wood Duck Swamp in search of salamander eggs. Little Acorns programs are designed to empower parents to introduce babies and young children to the natural world through hands on experiences, crafts, and focused free-play activities.
