| Enjoy a beautiful winter evening with a night hike! Starting at Burr Oak Woods Nature Center, we will learn about DarkSky International, a non-profit committed to restoring our nighttime environment. Then, hit the trails to experience how wildlife comes alive after dark. Together, we’ll use our senses to explore the nighttime world and uncover how light pollution affects the creatures that call it home. This program is in partnership with the Missouri River Bird Observatory. If accommodations are needed, please e-mail the instructor at least one week prior to the program. |
