Registration required by visiting www.deeproots.org/get-involved (adults) Winter sowing is an affordable way to grow native plants at home without a greenhouse. Native plants are adapted to the changing seasons. Many seeds required a cold, moist winter to break dormancy come spring. So, let's get planting! Join Deep Roots KC for a hands-on winter sowing workshop. Bring your own recycled containers, like milk jugs or plastic fruit cartons, and we'll provide the soil, native seeds and instruction to set you up for success.
