| Experience the bald eagle in Missouri, an amazing animal and remarkable conservation success story, at Runge Nature Center’s Eagle Adventure event! Enjoy interactive activities, crafts, learning stations, and live eagle presentations by World Bird Sanctuary. Live eagle presentations will be at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., Noon, 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. Visitors will need tickets to attend the eagle programs. Tickets are free and available at the Runge pavilion on the day of the event from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. or until all five programs are full. Wild bald eagle viewing opportunities will be ongoing at the Marion Access on the Missouri River (13 miles north of Runge on Highway 179) from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. as well. Staff will be on hand with spotting scopes, a warming fire, and hot chocolate. Registration is not required, and all ages are invited. |
