| Join us as we explore the incredible diversity of life that can be found within a single square meter of nature. Choose your own observation plot on the Runge property and return to your site as often, or as rarely, as you’d like throughout 2026. Observe, record, and discover the plants, animals, and fungi living there. Keep track of your findings using a nature journal and/or the iNaturalist app to document species and contribute to community science. During this program we will discuss utilizing iNaturalist, journaling, best photography practices, and selecting our sites for the challenge. Every visit offers something new; what will you discover in your square meter? A portion of this program will take place outside, so dress for the weather. Registration required. Ages 14+ |
