Unleash your creative spirit, paint your own lure for function or fashion. Finish your lure with treble hooks to catch fish, or catch heads as fun statement earrings. MDC will be hosting a lure painting class during the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art's March After Hours on Tuesday, March 24. Painting will take place in the Education Center on the east side of the museum (use the main driveway by the sculpture and follow the signs from the public south parking lot). Painting will be open between 4:00pm - 5:30pm to ensure prompt dry times. The main museum will be open from 4-7pm where you can pick up your finished project. MDC will provide the blank lures, acrylic painting materials, and finishing hardware. You bring the creativity! Though we are using water-based paints, a paint shirt for little artists is recommended. Sara L Parks
