Bring the whole family and experience a Thanksgiving meal prepared the old-fashioned way—over an open fire! Together we’ll learn the basics of building and maintaining a safe campfire, then use Dutch ovens to cook a complete holiday feast outdoors. Families will help prepare an appetizer, main dish, and dessert, all while discovering tips and tricks for successful Dutch oven cooking. Then we’ll enjoy the feast together! This hands-on program is perfect for families who want to try outdoor cooking, spend quality time together, and enjoy a hearty meal in nature. All materials and ingredients are provided. Please dress for the weather and bring your own beverages. This program is open to all ages, but we recommend it for children ages 7 and up due to the use of fire and hot cooking equipment. Please register EACH person who will be present to ensure we purchase enough food for everyone. Maura Horton
