| Gar are an incredible and ancient species of fish. With their sharp teeth and bony jaws, catching them with a hook or lure can be difficult. Join the Missouri Department of Conservation and learn how to make special lures just for catching gar. This program is open to the public and hosted at the Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center with no registration necessary. Come on in and learn about gar, craft a neat lure, and enjoy our facility. |
