Are your woods being invaded by undesirable plants? Then this workshop is for you! Join local staff as we discuss the history of non-native invasive plants and how they disrupt the native ecosystems, wildlife populations, farm/timber production, and recreational opportunities on your land. We will be teaching various management options and actually put the skills to use the same day. Learn how you can help ensure the future health our of Missouri habitats and increase the health of our animals by providing higher quality forage by decreasing the spread of these plants. This workshop will be very hands on! You will be led by professional staff on identifying and treating plants such as bush honeysuckle, privet, wintercreeper, and multiflora-rose.
