The Missouri Department of Conservation is partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association to explore the benefits of nature and archery for your brain, body, and overall health. A member of the Alzheimer’s Association will talk about topics covering Alzheimer awareness and the importance of being active in nature. After the presentation, an MDC naturalist will lead a lesson introducing the participants to the lifetime sport of archery. Archery offers significant benefits for both physical and mental health. This activity strengthens muscles, improves coordination, and promotes focus all while enjoying time outdoors. Matthew Cavanaugh
