This event is oriented toward young hunters and anglers, and is open to the public. All participants will earn free membership to JAKES, in partnership with the National Wild Turkey Federation, and area sponsors. Youth are welcome to bring their own shotgun, but firearms, ammunition, fishing equipment, and bait are all provided. Lunch will include hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and drinks. The event will be held on Union Ridge Conservation Area, parking lot E, located on the north side of Highway D. Specific directions: (from Highway 6) travel north of Green Castle along Hiway D. Pass the 90-degree turn and camping area. Parking lot E will be the next gravel drive on the left. (From Highway 149) travel west along Highway D. Parking lot E will be the first drive on the right once you enter the Area.
