Nature journaling is a wonderful practice that combines observation, curiosity, and creative expression to deepen your connection with the natural world. In this intro class, we will build our own Nature Journal and discuss the 'why's' and 'how's' of being present and fully emersed in the journaling process. It's not about being an artist or a scientist, but rather about slowing down, paying attention, and recording what you notice using a combination of words, sketches, and numbers. We will discuss various styles, people, and natural events that inspire us to slow down and enjoy a moment in nature. Basic supplies will be provided but you can bring things that inspire you. This class will be outside at the park, so dress for the weather. We will be in the back of the park, near the pond. Please bring any materials you would like to use for your personal journal, binoculars, water, and a chair if you need one. Stacia Skinner
