| Did you know southeast Missouri has an amazing world right beneath our feet? This hidden world is full of creepy crawlies like white cavefish, cave salamanders, grotto sculpin, and bats, of course! Celebrate the spooky season with a family-friendly, not-so-spooky event perfect for all ages. Our Trek-n-Treat trail with our educational creature-characters, games, and crafts will guide you through the “darkness” to see why Missouri’s caves are so cool! Bring the whole family, come dressed in your costume, and be certain to have your Halloween bucket because our costumed cave characters will be eager to hand out treats! The Trek-N-Treat trail may cover uneven terrain and areas of grass but will be suitable for sport strollers. Total distance will be about ¼ mile and take about 30 minutes to complete. We’ll see you…underground. |
