| If you are a landowner wanting to learn how to thin your timber for woodland restoration or forest stand improvement, come learn with us on August 2nd! This will be a demonstration workshop; the instructors will discuss the benefits of the hack & squirt method, how to pick which trees for treatment, and instructors will demonstration on how to hack & squirt. Attendees will then be able to hack & squirt multiple trees if they wish! MDC will provide hatchets, chemical, squirt bottles, and gloves. Please wear long sleeves and pants, closed toes shoes, and bug/tick spray. |
