Registration required (ages 14+) Join Missouri Department of Conservation naturalists as you explore the grounds at the Parkville Nature Sancturary! If water, wildlife and woodlands sound exciting, this is the perfect event for you. For a guided nature journaling experience, join one of these registration classes. The registration classes will take place at the Girl Scout Cabin, a 0.25-mile hike on a hilly, gravel trail. Transportation is not provided. We will be meeting at the Parkville Nature Sanctuary. If accommodations are needed, please e-mail the instructor after registering and at least one week prior to the program. |

Location Information A wildlife preserve and educational site developed and maintained by the City of Parkville Parks and Recreation with the help of a group of volunteers. It is a 115 acre natural outdoor area made accessible by nearly three miles of hiking trails. |

Directions: The main entrance of the Parkville Nature Sanctuary is at 12th Street, south of Highway 9, at the bottom of the hill next to the Park University athletic fields. |
