Grab your hiking stick and join volunteers from Runge Nature Center for a guided hike of Bluff and Natural Wonder Trails at Meramec State Park (Franklin County); 3.5 miles – intermediate. Meet at Runge Nature Center in Jefferson City or the trailhead. Some transportation is provided, but carpooling will be necessary as there is limited space in our vehicles. Hike leaders will contact participants via e-mail before the hike to give directions and other information. Wear sturdy shoes, dress for the weather, bring a water bottle, and pack a lunch/snack. Note: Registration is limited and closes on August 15 at 8 AM. Registration required. Ages 18+ Becky Matney
Location Information

Meramec State Park is a public recreation area located near Sullivan, Missouri, about 60 miles from St. Louis, along the Meramec River. The park has diverse ecosystems such as hardwood forests and glades.
Directions:

Meramec State Park is located 60 miles southwest of St. Louis off of Interstate 44 at the Sullivan/Hwy. 185 exit (east exit). Take Hwy. 185 south a few miles to the park entrance.

All registrants for this event must be a minimum age of 18 years old by 8/20/2025.
