Two thirds of all drinking water in the metropolitan area comes from the Blue River Watershed. Beginning in Johnson County, Kansas it flows through Kansas City, Missouri spanning 41 miles to join the Missouri River. People, plants and wildlife depend on clean water to survive. Join Deep Roots KC as we explore landscapes along the river, meet organizations that advocate for its health and discuss ways to enjoy recreational activities in the Blue River Valley.
