Nature and art collide in this family friendly, free program! Join us for a short walk on Tanglevine trail (1/3-mile loop) to collect natural items for your very own nature print magnet. While you collect, learn about the forest of Powder Valley and who lives there through hands-on, interactive experiences. After the walk, cool down in our classroom where you'll make your own personal nature printed magnet with what you collected, air dry clay, and paint. Once you've finished your new magnet, take it home to remember your hike! Please make sure to wear proper walking shoes, bring water, and apply bug spray/sunscreen if you wish. Tanglevine trail measures to be about 1/3-mile loop. It is fairly flat and mostly shaded with benches along the way to take a seat. Please be sure to register all members of your party, including both adults and children. Meet our naturalist in Classrooms C & D at Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center to begin your program. Lauren Baker
