Additional Information: | Instructed by: |
Spend an evening by the water at Forest Park, learning the essentials of catching sunfish like bluegill and largemouth bass. Then, take your experience to the next level as you prepare and cook a fresh catch for a delicious snack. We will look at some of the common equipment needed and common methods of cleaning these fish. Participants will fish, and staff will show participants how to clean their catch. Afterwards, participants can sample what we've cooked. All equipment and food will be provided free of charge. This program is appropriate for adults and families with children over the age of 12. This is a special opportunity to learn more about how to utilize your catch. There may even be opportunities for participants to take home their very own catch! Participants 17 and older must have a valid fishing license. |
