Missouri not only offers gorgeous natural areas to enjoy, but also delicious treats to eat! Stop by Powder Valley to sample a few tasty treats our great state provides for us. On the sampling menu will be sassafras root beer and chanterelle ice cream. The perfect items to make your own mini-Missouri root beer float! Learn about how each of the recipes are made and where and when you can find the required ingredients. Meet an MDC naturalist in Powder Valley Nature Center Classrooms C & D for the program. Please note: All recipes will be made exactly as they are. We will send a list of ingredients before the program for those who may have food allergies. Please be sure to register all attendees of this program, including children. |
