On summer nights our backyards are filled with the twinkling glow of lightning bugs. Nature's own fireworks display! Many other animals are active at night. How do these nocturnal animals navigate in the dark? Why do lightning bugs glow? Join us for an evening nature stroll to look and listen for nature's night shift as we learn a bit about special adaptations. Meet at parking lot "L" about 4 miles from the entrance. Please allow 15 minutes to drive from the area entrance to the parking lot. |
