Central Missouri offers many opportunities for scenic hikes through a variety of terrains. Springs, caves, wildflowers, prairies, glades, and more are ready to explore if you know where to go. This program will include the basics of safe hiking including safety gear and clothing, instruction on navigating the Missouri State Parks and Missouri Department of Conservation websites, provide details including scenic photos of hiking trails located in Central Missouri, and give an introduction to the Runge Nature Center hiking programs.
