Registration required (ages 12+) This workshop focuses on narrative symbolism and symmetry while emphasizing cutting with a Xacto knife. We begin with an overview of the history of folk paper cutting and then review proper cutting techniques with a Xacto knife, with safety emphasized. Working primarily with card stock, we will work from a template provided by the teacher to explore and practice paper cutting. This workshop will be taught by exhibiting artist Sarah Nguyen. If accommodations are needed, please e-mail the instructor after registering and at least one week prior to the program. Trina Wash
