Special Note: Due to ongoing construction at Runge Nature Center, this year’s sale will be held at Binder Lake Sports Complex (280 Binder Lake Rd., Jefferson City, MO 65109). Runge Nature Center is once again partnering with the Grow Native! program of the Missouri Prairie Foundation to offer the 2025 Grow Native! Plant Sale. Using native plants in landscaping is a simple way to beautify your property while benefiting pollinators, butterflies, songbirds, and other wildlife. Not only are native plants easy to care for, but there is a native tree, shrub, vine, or other plant that is perfect for every situation. The Grow Native! program will offer free native landscaping literature as well as garden signs and books for sale. Shoppers can stroll through the sale and purchase plants from each vendor. Some vendors accept cash, check, or credit cards; some only cash or checks. Volunteers will be available to help load plants into vehicles for any buyers needing assistance. No registration required.
