| Special Note: Due to ongoing construction at Runge Nature Center, this year’s sale will be held at Binder Lake Sports Complex, 280 Binder Lake Rd., Jefferson City, MO 65109. Runge Nature Center is once again partnering with the Grow Native! program of the Missouri Prairie Foundation to offer the 2025 Grow Native! Plant Sale. Using native plants in landscaping is a simple way to beautify your property while benefiting pollinators, butterflies, songbirds, and other wildlife. Not only are native plants easy to care for, but there is a native tree, shrub, vine, or other plant that is perfect for every situation. The Grow Native! program will offer free native landscaping literature as well as garden signs and books for sale. Vendors: Gaylena’s Garden Missouri Wildflowers Nursery Ozark Soul Native Plants Grindstone Wildflowers (SunRise Gardens) Prairie Hill Farm Papillon Perennials Shoppers can stroll through the sale and purchase plants from each vendor. Some vendors accept cash, check, or credit cards; some only cash or checks. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own crates or boxes for transporting their purchased plants home. Volunteers will be available to help load plants into vehicles for any buyers needing assistance. Some vendors are accepting pre-orders. When placing pre-orders, include your phone number and note the order is for the Jefferson City Native Plant Sale – Binder Park Sports Complex on March 29.
