Have you always wanted to get into the art of fly tying but do not know where to start? Join us for our 4-part virtual fly-tying series that will introduce you into the world of fly tying. You will learn about the basic tools, materials, and skills to get you rolling on tying your own flies. You must have your own equipment and tying tools to participate. See Equipment list below. We will send you the individual consumable materials; feathers, hooks, hair, etc., via mail free of charge. Each class will build on the previous classes’ skills so attendance of all 4 classes is required. Each class will start at 5:00pm and will run for approximately 2 hours. This class is virtual so you will also need a computer with internet access and speakers to participate. Required Equipment List: basic fly-tying vise, bobbin holder, 140 denier or 6/0 black or brown thread, scissors, bodkin, hackle pliers, fly head cement. A standard fly-tying toolkit will have these items. Optional Equipment: rotary vise, bobbin threader, whip finisher This is a 4 evening class the dates are as follows: Febuary 24th 5:30pm March 3rd 5:30pm March 10th 5:30pm March 17th 5:30pm Matthew Murray
