Registration to this and other MDC Programs implies intent to attend. This honors the time and effort of MDC instructors as well as consideration of limited program space. Trees Work. Trees are important because they help prevent erosion, they protect water we need in our watershed, they purify the air we breathe, their wood builds our homes and many other things, and they look really beautiful where the songbird sings. They are a natural, renewable, resource. And paper comes from trees. In this family friendly program we will be appreciating trees, learning how trees are used to make paper, and about conserving trees by using paper wisely. We will also be making hand crafted paper with pulp made by repurposing fibers from used printing paper. |
