| Walk-in (ages12+) We have just wrapped up celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Federal Wilderness Act passed by Congress in 1964. Did you know Missouri has eight designated wilderness areas located in our national forest lands of the Ozarks. Stop in and learn more about some of the wildest and most remote areas of Missouri to hike and explore. Winter is a good time to map out the coming year's adventure. We will help you plan it with an introduction to Missouri's wilderness areas. If accommodations are needed, please e-mail the instructor at least one week prior to the program. |
