Now’s your time to get creative! Needle felting is the art of shaping wool and other similar fibers to make beautiful artwork and 3D shapes. For this class, join two Powder Valley naturalists in a guided needle felting class to make your own owl. Give it as a gift this holiday season or keep it for yourself! During the class, the naturalists will both instruct participants on needle felting, as well as share information about Missouri’s owls. Please make sure to register all participants ahead of time. Participants should be age 15 or older as we will be working with sharp materials. Meet in Classrooms C & D inside Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center for this cozy, crafty program! Lauren Baker
