Join us for an evening of celebration and learning as we host the Sierra Club in Celebrating 60 Years of the Wilderness Act. Missouri representatives from the U.S. Forest Service, Missouri State Parks, Kansas City Wildlands and Missouri Sierra Club will be presenting their perspectives on this historic act. Join us at 6 p.m. to enjoy celebratory treats, chat with presenters and view amazing photography from Wilderness Areas in Missouri and across the country. Free KC Wildland books to the first 50 attendees courtesy of MDC. Seirra will have free camping/backpacking gear from their lending library available to anyone who could give them a new home. Sierra Club is asking for those attending to RSVP at sc.org/60-wild, but it is not required. Pat P Whalen
