Are you interested in the shooting sports, but have no experience? Here’s your opportunity! All necessary equipment will be provided.

| This mobility impaired rabbit hunt is for six individuals between the ages of 14 - 90 years old. MDC will provide each of the six selected registered participants an all-terrain track chair, shotgun and ammo, eye & ear protection to use, and MDC staff to serve as personal mentor during the hunt. Guest will enjoy watching and hearing beagles search the fields for rabbits along with enjoying our Missouri outdoors! The six selected guest will be notified by November 26 of their selection for the hunt along with the name of their mentor; small game permit is required. The hunt will occur in Texas County at Lamberson Memorial Conservation Area on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 (9am - 1pm). Directions: From Houston, MO take Hwy 17 west 7 miles to Hwy 38. Travel 12 miles down Hwy 38 to reach the CA. Lamberson Memorial CA is on the north side of 38 Hwy and is 1 mile east of the Texas/Wright County line. |
