Prescribed burning can be a valuable tool for managing native plant diversity and controlling undesirable vegetation, but it can be dangerous and ineffective when not used properly. This workshop will provide basic information about how to plan and execute a prescribed burn for grassland management.

| Burn workshop location will be sent to participants closer to the burn date. You will need to complete the online portion of the workshop prior to the field portion. You can bring your certificate of completion to the workshop or you can email it to me at ted.seiler@mdc.mo.gov prior to the workshop and I will have it there. Info about accessing the online portion will be sent soon after you register. |
