Radine Bright is a St. Louis artist who specialized in wildlife art, mainly birds of all kinds. After graduating from Washington University School of Fine Arts, she worked as a Graphic Designer and illustrator at a small design studio. She is currently a member of the Jefferson County Artist Guild. Painting has been a hobby of Radine's for many years. She pursued landscape painting in her spare time before changing to wild birds. She became captivated by the large variety of birds, their distinct markings and plumage, habitats, unique characteristics, songs, and calls. She has painted many different bird species as well as some mammals and enjoys the challenge of capturing their unique features in her paintings. Come see the work of artist Radine Bright this month at Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center located within the art gallery hallway portion of the building. Lauren Baker
