| The Missouri Department of Conservation Northeast Regional Office in Kirksville will be buying seed to supply our State Nursery on the listed dates and times. We will purchase the following types of seed: Pin Oak - $1.25/lb. Bur Oak - $1.10/lb. *Bur oak seed must be a minimum of 1.25 inches long* Black Oak - $0.85/lb. White Oak - $0.95/lb. Northern Red Oak - $0.95/lb. Swamp White Oak - $1.50/lb. Shellbark Hickory - $0.90/lb. Ohio Buckeye - $0.95/lb. *without hulls* Gray Dogwood - $5.00/lb. Hackberry - $12.75/lb. *Hackberry must be North Missouri sourced only* Redbud - $4.00/lb. in pods *Redbud pods must be brown in color and have three seeds that are light brown and filled out, not black. Green seed pods will not be accepted.* We reserve the right to stop buying seed once our needs are met. Before you collect, please call our office at 660-785-2420 to find out if we are still buying that species of seed or with any other questions. |
